Update
I have changed four photographs in the three Galleries on the website as of today. The reason for the new images is the new artwork coming into view by making the digital contact sheets. I may have used more slide film over the years but I did use negative films especially in the beginning. One sad discovery is color negative film (Kodacolor-X; Kodacolor II) was very grainy compared to Kodachrome color reversal film back in the 1970’s. Luckily I stopped using color negative film for my personal work sometime in the late 1970’s.
Future updates on photograph changes
There may be more changes or edits in the future as I continue reviewing the negative archive. If I make any changes in the photographs updates will be listed here in the posts.
How many of you noticed which photographs of the 48 where changed?
I will give a free 8X10 original print ($250 value) of your choice from the 48 in the three Galleries on the website today to the first person who gets the four changes correctly. I will produce the archival matted print and pay sales tax and the winner will pay for the shipping and insurance.
This offer applies to anyone in the 48 states except for Vicki Hardin who helped me make the edits. She will get a free print anyway. I will announce the winner here on this page by first name and last initial. The offer of a free print ends as soon as someone chooses the correct four images that where updated or changed. Today is July 18, 2014.
Send in your list of four 4 changed photographs on the website by email using our contact us page. Add the subject — 4 changed photographs — to the contact form. You must add a good working email address in order to win. The winner will be notified by email to make their choice from the photographs on the website and then we will make their print and let them know it is on its way.
All photographs are printed on museum quality acid-free fibre paper using archival pigment inks and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, numbered and signed by the artist.
